Do I need a HIRA under the OHS Act?

Section 8 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act requires employers to identify the hazards attached to the work and the precautions needed, as far as reasonably practicable. A documented hazard identification and risk assessment (HIRA) is the usual way to show this, and some regulations, such as the Construction Regulations, 2014, expect a written risk assessment.

How long does a written warning stay valid?

Who is the Information Officer under POPIA?

When is the EMP201 due?

The EMP201 (PAYE, SDL and UIF) must be submitted and paid to SARS by the 7th of the month after the payroll month. If the 7th falls on a weekend or public holiday, it is due on the last business day before it.

How much annual leave does the BCEA require?
